Apply to be on the show!
We’re making a new series of Gastronuts between now and summer. I have no influence whatsoever on who gets chosen, so the only help I can offer you is masses of luck! Here’s the info from the TV production company:
We are currently casting for the second series of Gastronuts and are looking for children aged between 9-11 to take part. With a team of children, Stefan will reveal the cheeky and hilarious truth about what we eat, where it comes from and what it does to us. The first series is currently showing on BBC1 (Weds 4.05pm) and is also available to view on the BBC iPlayer.
Each episode tackles big questions like: “How many carrots do I have to eat before I turn orange?” “What is the world’s weirdest food?” “Why does unhealthy food taste so good?” and “Can food make you smarter?”
We are very excited about this show returning and are looking forward to working with some amazing children in this series. We would like children that are confident, fun and not afraid to get involved. Those children who took part in the last series gained an enormous amount from taking part and we anticipate this series will be even more exciting and informative.
We expect the response to be high, and though we are casting for shooting across the summer we will be casting on a first come first served basis, so do please apply quickly to avoid disappointment.
If you are interested in taking part, please email gastronuts@objectiveproductions.com and we’ll send you an application pack.
Successful applicants might be asked to try some unusual foods so it’s not for kids with delicate stomachs!
NOTE: Please don’t contact stefan with your details as he isn’t allowed to pass them on!
